Suppliers & mapping
Connect and sync suppliers and map BIDEX product groups.
Each supplier is its own connection with its own credentials, sync interval and mapping. Changes to a connection only affect that supplier.
Connect a supplier
- Create a new connection under Suppliers → Connections.
- Enter VeloConnect credentials or choose CSV/Excel as the data source.
- Set the sync profile and model-year filter.
- Start the first run and check the status.
Check the sync
A sync can be complete, partial or failed. A partial sync with a search term counts as success if the run finished cleanly. The decisive factors are last_sync_at, the number of imported items and the error message in the run.
BIDEX mapping
Mapping runs in two steps: supplier classification → BIDEX code (global) → own product group (per retailer). BIDEX is the shared language; your product group remains your structure.
Common problems

| Items without product group | BIDEX code missing or unknown | Add the classification and remap |
| Wrong cost/sales price | Multiple sources deliver different values | Resolve the merge conflict in the dashboard |
